What Moves You w/ Cajoux ft. Ailton "TRKZ" Matavela (17.07.21)

In this episode Cajoux welcomes her first guest. Ailton "TRKZ" Matavela is a young mozambican recording artist, producer/beatmaker and singer based in his hometown Maputo, Mozambique. He's sharing with us his latest project: From Metuge to Chibuto, Rovuma to Maputo, a musical odyssey weaving together indigenous Mozambican music with contemporary electronic rhythms, reminiscent of Maputo City.

It came as a result of a process of Investigation that lead him to create this compilation, in the search of an identity, something we can all relate to. At the end of it he realised that Mozambique's very rich culturally, and it is a responsibility for the ones who can access this, to promote and to pass the message for the upcoming generations
