Destiny is defined by the courage to keep moving. This mix is a sonic declaration of resilience, transparency, and the intent to build a future on solid ground.
Starting with the smooth reflection of William DeVaughn and building into the high-energy, gospel-soaked house of Aretha Franklin, Adeva, and Sounds of Blackness, this set mirrors the journey of two spirits navigating their way toward the "inner house." It is about finding the joy and the "Golden" moments even when the walls are high, and choosing to remain "Optimistic" about the path ahead.
Curated by Darnell for The Dismal Dance.
