Hello dancers!
My name is Dimitri (aka TheBuruBuru).
I was born in Greece but in 1996 I moved to England to study and for the last three years I live in London. Before my arrival in Britain I had completed my studies in the theory and history of music as well as in vocals. Though I always loved music, I never imagined myself as a DJ. That changed four years ago when suddenly I start enjoying electronic music and clubbing, but I was not getting satisfied with the commercial sounds of the clubs. I still feel the same way in most of my nights out. So therefore every time I would come back from a club or party I have to mix music in order to satisfy my mind. I guess there are more people out there feeling the same as I do, wanting not commercial but underground sounds of electronic music. One more reason for me to mix. I want to promote my ideas and sounds to these hungry ears. Oh I can play music for hours. I hope that you will enjoy my mix for the DJ MAG Next Generation competition!
