This mix is dedicated to my mother, who died on the 5th of January 2012 after a long and serious illness.
I had the inspiration for this mix from Allen Ginsberg's poem 'Kaddish' and the poem/song 'Father Death Blues' included here, which were written in reflection of his mum's and father's death respectively.
As I am not able to express my feelings in such poetic words I decided to put together a mix consisting of songs that are related to the theme of death or music that helped me relax and come to terms with her impending death and the difficult time my family and me had while all of this was happening.
