Sound Metaphors is one of the finer record stores in Berlin and has expanded its remit to include a couple of reissue labels, an under the counter edit operation and a party that aims to offer something a little different. There is a real attention to detail at play here – building their own soundsystem, the design and quality of releases. They also have a fondness seemingly for booking “weathered” UK DJs (Idjuts, Mison, Soft Rocks) that will always be endearing here at TP towers… Castro and Nemo from the shop took some time out to deliver this deeply tripped out journey for Test Pressing.
