We are probably all experiencing how rapidly many things around us are changing. To find your way around, you need orientation. This applies to unfamiliar situations, foreign environments or new encounters.
When I'm on the road in my home country and realize "ah, I know that mountain and also that distinctive church back there," then I know where I am. When I'm in a completely new area, I first have to look for landmarks: There the imposing tree, there a tower or a valley with a large river. Without knowing my way around at first, I learn to find my way in the new landscape. I learn to orient myself. I also need this resource for my inner growth and emotional balance in the world.
In our May 21 session, we explored the worth of orientation with the help of our Music Cycle.
