Growing up I was constantly exposed to shitty radio music in a two hour loop. For the longest time I believed that music from before the 2000's was a mixture of trashy synthesizer songs, cliche pop and self-loathing rock - How wrong I was! There are people who just don't know how to curate it and throw in terribly transitioned songs like Barbie Girl, so even the last person gets that you're on a 90's party.
With this mix I don't wanna do that. Instead, I want it to bring up great memories created by legendary house parties, road trips and drunkenly singing karaoke at 4am. I want it to be the ignition for today's night, without compromises to the flow and without compromises to the music. But most importantly, you don't need to be born in 1970. Cause this selection of 70's to 90's music is material for intergenerational happiness!
