The Waiting Room

Cheers! :o) The production in this (at the start, middle & end) is all new & has all been added to the Radio Phoenix edits to pad out to an hour per half to cover the 2min removal RP required. It was originally aired July 2013 & there was a lot more talking before the edit(s).

The intro is Chris Morris 'interviewing' Cliff Richard a good few years back (& right now CR is being interveiwed by the Police over child abuse allegations), the middle is Eric Idle from one of his '70s radio shows & the end is (you know this already, right?) Omar & McNulty in The Wire.

Also - MIRROR PARTIES! I loved their Bear Vomit tape so much, I wore that sucker out. (prolly 'cos I kept rewinding it back to "Bodies"). Their new LP is sweet, too.

Nice one! I remember when this one aired - the first block, anyway, 'cos I remember I was cleaning the bathroom when that first sextet blew me away and I asked you directly to type out the Gravel Samwidge link. (A deliciously sludgely EP that was, too.) Must've been from June, I think - roundabout when I first tuned in! I don't remember the Jesus porno intro or the adopt-a-middle-class-person skit, but both made me giggle a bunch this evening. And White Poppy! Yay! Her "I Had A Dream" tape is lovely.
