Many of my musical discoveries are intimately linked to cinema. In 1997, I discovered Lost Highway by David Lynch, which was an aesthetic and narrative shock for the high school student I used to be. After the screening I immediately bought the soundtrack and played it again and again on my hi-fi system. This soundtrack plays a part in the orientation of my musical tastes and represents what any good playlist should be: eclectic, inhabited, both dark and dreamlike, aggressive and peaceful and marked by sudden changes of tone. This is how I composed this musical portrait.
