Picture this..... 16 years old, full tub of wet look gel on your hair, your best shirt on (about 4 sizes too big), full of spots, standing in the queue at your local nightclub. You've got your fake I.D in your pocket and your trying your hardest to remember your fake date of birth, as you get nearer to the door you can hear the muffled sounds of some house tunes and your hoping the bouncer doesn't notice you as you try and slip in behind the group of lads in front, as soon as you got in it would be straight to the DJ asking for THE choon! (in my case 'Your Caress') ..... This is the memory which this mix conjures up in my mind.
I've had the idea for this mix floating around for a while, I wanted it to be an ode to those days so I have included a lot of tracks which used to be playing in the clubs around that time also a few of my faves from around that era.
I have had so much fun with this mix and I hope it brings back memories of those good old times for you too.

Nightcrawlers. I know I'm on my way.. Sexosinic into.Xpress 2 = Shmoooove!! I haven't heard Want Love in many many years. It's one of those that I always wanted to know who and what and never found out until now. DUKE massive tune somehow that one got past me. 8 same thing as 4 ..now I know. Floods of happy memories here. 11 never heard it before..Love it though. Same with all the following tracks. All of them way cool, Klubbheads and Pianoheadz stand out of the pack a little. Nice throwback!
