Some new and old tracks here, a lot of them I'd not heard before so this was exciting to mix (even though that may seem at odds with the nature of the tracks). I ended up starting more bass heavy than I planned, but it created a nice flow later on so it worked out better than I expected. I wanted to go into a more jazz-y direction but I just don't have enough of those tracks yet, always room for improvement in that regard.
Still getting used to throwing my iPad into the mix, a lot more level watching than before.
Recorded using my Tascam DR-08, wasn't sure how it'd turn out but the recording is definitely louder than using Traktor's built in option (even set on low). I'm not sure what I think of the volume increase but it is nice not to hear Traktor's internal nuances anymore so that's a plus; might mess around with the manual recording options next time and use a limiter.
So my loudest mix yet is based around relaxed music, ironic that. Hope you enjoy, I certainly did.
