Rio Dreaming (Yellow Brick Road to Dancefestopia 2020)

Some Wednesday Drum & Bass love! Started out with some neuro vibes, and moved into more and more vocal liquid as time went on.

This is my entry for the Yellow Brick Road To Dancefestopia, so I thought I'd share a bit. Last year one of my favorite performances was from Longer Days, my group had no idea who he was but having a break from the bass music that was at each and every stage at that time of day was amazing. With this mix I wanted to bring a little of that cathartic nature and melody to the festival, while also scratching my insane drum & bass itch (Rusko and Zomboy didnt satisfy it fully but it was such a breath of fresh air last year).

Regardless I'll be there again this year, hoping to catch those moments where a break from the normal festival cadence arises - and wishing for more dnb while at it.

Thanks for reading/listening, and enjoy the journey!
