Heartbeat Machine

Had some good news today, and was really digging "Heartbeat" by Childish Gambino (really disliked the recent GRiZ remix), and just had to mix. With no real direction other than joy (pretty stellar news) I had no idea where I wanted this to end up, let alone what would happen in between. I've really been using the cue button a lot of late, and using my own rhythms to mix into tracks regardless of BPM. There's a minor theme throughout the mix, pretty cool how that seems to happen more often than not.

My controllers were messing up and had to be reset twice during this, made for some interesting times. I really loved the flow when I was behind the table, hopefully that means it's not a complete wreck in your speakers/headphones!
