Moustache Chronicles 04 "Antique Beats - Part 1"

Here’s a cheeky montage starting with original Swing, Jazz and then Electro Swing. It includes a couple of tracks that were released well before the title ‘Electro Swing’ was used, by the fantastic UK band - The Real Tuesday Weld, who have been an inspiration to our own work (and where we first heard the title ‘Antique Beats’).

I remember enjoying the expressions on people’s faces at our early shows before ‘Electro Swing’ was heard of - firstly we’d receive puzzled looks of 'What on earth are they up to now?' quickly followed up by looks of 'This is great – what is it?'. (Although in fairness the look of 'What on earth are they up to now?' is something we’ve become well accustomed to!).

The rest is history, and it’s great that a fantastic genre of music has been brought back to life for people to enjoy.

Oh… and I forgot to say. this gets a bit lively, so put any breakable items out of the way and go for it!
