Sometimes Sound No. 37

Sun is finally out on my patch of grass, I’m thawing out and feeling that annual burst of energy that comes with the reemergence of LIFE around me. Feeling the need to “move”, “do”, “grow”, and “build”. This mix is for those impulses. No. 37 is a collection of sounds with no dominant genre, however there is a warm atmosphere of rootless and restless psychedelia throughout. Soulful and rhythmic, it’s heavy on the drum break, the bop, the knock, and the drive. As well as that special kind of crunchy, fuzzed out guitar that diffuses its electrical verve directly through your veins, and leaves you with a sort of buzzing residual energy.
