Samhain marks the beginning of the celtic new year. It was one of the 8 major pagan festivals (Samhain, Winter Solstice, Imbolc, Spring equinox, Beltane, Summer Solstice, Lammas, Autumn Equinox) and perhaps the most important. Samhain is a liminal time, when the veil between the worlds becomes thin. It is a magical interval when the mundane laws of time and space are temporarily suspended. The past, present and future are one during Samhain, and the implications of this are considered to be immense. Samhain is a powerful time for divination, for the setting of intention, and for transformation.
What better time to get loose & dance to techno? We hosted a techno party at the Russell Street Sunday School with a bunch of lovely characters. This is the set I played around 1-2am. Hope you enjoy.
