So, we are near the Koussevitzky School of Arts. The school is named after Sergei Koussevitzky, an outstanding Russian double bassist, conductor and composer. Interestingly, with his work, he "connects" the culture of Russia and America. The premieres of many works by Scriabin, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Tcherepnin, Bernstein were conducted by our countryman Sergei Koussevitzky. The house where Sergei lived in Vyshny Volochek has been preserved and is located at the addres: Rabochaya street, 10. The Tveretsky Canal Embankment and Venetsianova Street are not far from here.
