Heavy Smoke

This one harks back to a time when I was first introduced to this 'style' of music: tripped out, mellow beats that are both beautiful & heavy. I may forever be in debt to labels such as Mo' Wax, Ninja Tune & Shadow Records for releasing amazing albums & showcasing great artists who really pushed this genre into a true art form. Those labels made me search for these beats even more, but that was just an extension of my early days looking for hip hop 12" singles, because I wanted the instrumental on the B-side. So sit back & relax, as hopefully these beats take you on an unexpected journey. Nice headphones are a definite bonus for you.
