Tone Work

My wife inspired this mix. She doesn't have much time to listen to beats these days, but when she does she's reachin' for Bukem/Conrad sets from the latter half of the 90's (essential '96, various progression sessions), and takes a drive somewhere. She needed something fresh, but i had to reference a couple 90's tracks to try and stimulate good memories of her former beat years. Other musically artistic inspirations from this genre are dB, Roni Size, Scott Henry and, more recently, Technicolour, who's works are peppered throughout this mix. I make money as a stone mason doing stone work, but with this i try and keep my baby smilin' with a little Tone Work. peace.
