In 2009 while listening to SiriusXM Area I was introduced to a then 20 year up and coming trance artist who had just released an EP titled Vanilla Sky. After really enjoying what I heard, I began to look into this practically unknown kid. Almost a year after this, Arty had signed to Anjunabeats, and I found myself beginning to hear his tracks in almost every DJ's set I tuned in to. His sound is unique to me in the sense that it's both melodic, big room, and hard, while still maintaining the feeling that is trance. His releases continue to get better and better, recently getting the stamp of approval by Pasquale Rotella, the CEO and founder of Insomniac, Arty's music was the theme song and background music to the Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas firework show every night. Needless to say, there hasn't been a single song he has put out that I haven't fallen in love with.
