Uhuru Republic

UHURU REPUBLIC is a music collective born in 2018 between Torino, Genova, Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar and Nairobi that gives a new interpretation to the traditional East African music, and merges it with electronic music.

Electronics, strings, voices, traditional percussions, strings, qanuns, flutes, nyatiti, tze tze, kalimbas, dancers and video projections all together in an energetic performance that melts tradition with innovation, Europe with Africa, electronic music with ancient music.
