This mix is a night trip compressed with a 16:1 ratio, a 300 dpi image of what I’d play for 8 hours in a dusty warehouse somewhere in the suburbs of an industrial hub. Most of my music is built upon my own experience of illegal warehouse raves in the French 90′s, and that’s what I also tried to picture in this podcast : how wretched, confused, and inspiring your life can be when you get back home on a Sunday evening, after having spent the last 48 hours in the middle of nowhere, with no sense of time or space.

Maelstrom over the last four years has become a force that is not to be reckoned with. The young French duke who is not one to stick to a single genre, has more and more appraisals, recommendations and support with every release. It seems each one has the leaders of each genre coming back to him and soaking him in hype. This guy goes in on disco, dubstep and electro and excels in each one.
