Bintus - 272 - Electronic Explorations

EE 271 - Bintus - “I really enjoyed doing this! – Took ages – tracks really had to fight for their place, still – it means I got a load off other stuff lined up if I ever go back for a part 2.
It starts at around 200 bpm, quickly drops a couple of gears to half time then builds up again over the mix to about 155bpm. Mostly vinyl, recorded from a 1210 through a Pioneer mixer into Logic using headphones to monitor the upcoming track and mix it in dj style. Means I can go again if I mess up and tweak things.
Although the music spans something like 1967 (john baker with ‘brio’) to 2013 (next EDMX release on PV) and encompasses a load of different styles I’m into, (’83-’87 Hip Hop, dusty old acid house, 70′s electronics, Live bands doing techno etc.) I’m trying as much as possible to beat mix things – however unlikely the combination;
