Miranda Sage-New CD Release Feature and Interview

Victoria, BC jazz vocalist joins CHLY 101.7 FM's Kerilie McDowall for an interview and feature of her brand new CD release On This Day, as produced by Order of Canada recipient and multi instrumentalist Don Thompson. The new album showcases top Canadian Toronto and Canadian jazz talents: Don Thompson, producer/arranger/piano; Neil Swainson, bass; Reg Schwager, guitar; Terry Clarke, drums; Phil Dwyer, tenor sax; Shirantha Beddage, bari sax; John de Simini, alto sax; Kevin Turcotte, trumpet and Kelsey Grant, trombone.

The album presents with lush, gorgeous standards and three original compositions that are perfect for a lazy afternoon. The ambience of the brand new album is relaxed with Sage's pleasant, sophisticated and elegant approach towards vocal jazz interpretation.
