The title track (3rd one) by Simon & Garfunkel was the inspiration for the mix, but The Kinks stole the show; having two rarely heard tracks by them plus a slow version of their song "You Really Got Me" covered by the late Robert Palmer. A few tracks before that, Bonnie Raitt does a less intense version than Robert Palmer's original "You're Gonna Get What's Coming". The Sade track is another not often heard and distinctive tune (found on the soundtrack to the movie "Absolute Beginners" with David Bowie). This mix moves right along; not slowing down so much towards the end as my mixes tend to do. Another good compilation to kick back to while sipping a second beer of the day (at least for me it is). This loosely thematic mix was fun to create and I enjoyed listening to it. Hope you like it as well.
