Alternate title "Extract of It".. This is a companion compilation to my "Doing My Good Thing" mix. After making both of them it occurred to me that these could be my 2013 Halloween mixes since, on TV, The Munsters had their hand in a box named "Thing" and The Adams Family had their little creature that was all hair with gibberish spouting vocal chords named "Cousin Itt".
This mix is a distillation of two "It" mixes ("It's Where It's At" and "It's It") that I created late in March of 2008 while I was an active participant at www.artofthemix.org in its glory days. About a year later a network of malicious hackers brought that site to its knees, passing viruses to visitors with insufficiently protected PCs. Loyal members ran for their lives, many finding a new home for a few years at zenrunningorder.org which was mothballed some time ago.
It was a cryin' shame, but it ain't over till Roy Orbison sings "It's Over"..so I now happily share my passion for mixing it up at mixcloud.
