Clear Spot - 3rd October 2016 (Gwaith Swn's Sonic Darts)
The Clear Spot is an open access programme for one off, irregular and sometimes surprise broadcasts, every week day evening (repeated the next morning). Today: 'Gwaith Swn's Sonic Darts' - This month the sound collective pick the sonic pocket of crime. We will witness new sound works from Irish-born sound artist and composer Jenn Kirby and London-based musician Phil Swann. Lining up is regular slot 'Tedious field recording of the month', and bail is offered with new pieces from stalwart regulars Sam Conran, Kevin Chan and Dan Linn-Pearl. Please could you make it clear that Carrion, carrion is a collaborative work, made by Phil Swan and Laura Dee Milnes for Milnes' exhibition 'Carrion, carrion' at 38b Projects, London. I can't stress how important it is to credit artists properly for their work and it's disappointing to be left out of this collaborative credit, which is a very important piece of work to me.
