WTF MIXCLOUD!?!
So, as you all know, I usually post a Saturday Show... Yes, and now it's Sunday and visibly there is still no show! So, where is the show you ask? Hmm... ๐ค That is such a good question, folks. I'm asking the same damn question myself. After several attempts of uploading and posting my show and miserably failing...

Idk what's going on with Mixcloud lately but it's really starting to irritate the piss outta me! I mean I pay for this now! It should effing work properly and publish my show when I hit the publish button.
But NO! It seems to be stuck in Never Neverland endlessly processing.................................................................
So, I'm not exactly sure when it will become available to the public's eyes and ears?!?
Sorry, Mixcloud sucks now, and can't seem to get their shite together! Until then my friends,
seriously looking elsewhere to tend to my musical deejaying needs because this is BS! ๐คฌ

Uh-oh! Nearly everyone seems to be having Mixcloud issues lately... guess they're working on getting out all the kinks still... Well, maybe not all the kinks! heh... ๐ Hopefully it will work for you, sooner, rather than later!
Platforms suck but people rock, at least the ones that post as awesomely as you do Raven. Stay frosty and I am sure these issues will dissolve like tears in acid rain bb. xxx

So sorry to hear this as I love your shows and think you are just a brilliant programmer. That said, here's the problem I've been having with my downloaded shows: I occasionally get shows suspended because of running afoul of their artist programming rules. That is to say no more than fours songs from one album and no more than three songs in a row from one release. When I pointed out to mixcloud that it would be quite easy to find four songs on an album from almost any show what with all the compilations and greatest hits and genre history and artist box sets and LPs, I was not given even the courtesy of a reply. So don't be surprised DJs if a show of yours, even one years old is suddenly suspended. That brilliant set list you compiled for a show might be suspended because a recording company has just released a comp or history containing four of your song. Or a long out-of-print recording has been somehow, someway, unearthed by the good folks at mixcloud.
Oh, Jeez! ๐ฌ And thank you, btw! Love the shows you put out as well. I had a show disappear once, but it was because it was too provocatively themed. Which, I didn't think Mixcloud censored but anyway... it was about the "birds and bees" ๐ lol! They did not like that very much and they took it down. I just ended up renaming the title. Really, I just took away the space in between the 2 words that I used and then re-uploaded... and it stayed up, surprisingly. Go figure! ๐ค

It doesn't affect everyone apparently... I just received this email from them this morning:
"We've identified an issue that's preventing some tracks and shows from uploading and publishing successfully. Our engineering team has investigated this to determine the cause and is now actively working on a fix."
I completely agree with these sentiments. Hate the platform, love the people. I had a good look around before I started paying and ended up back here. ๐ฉ

Well, for now. . . I shall stay put but I will prob also start up elsewhere too so I'll
have a backup just in case Mixcloud doesn't end up working out in the long run.

I stopped on Mixcloud back in December when they got greedy and started to charge just for uploads. Sorry you're going through issues. I am so grateful for HearThis.at - at least I can post my one-hour special streams there, though you have to pay if you want to upload files larger than 300 mb. Good luck with this crapola!!!

Raven - like so many others I have had many issues with MC up to and including the dreaded processing issue that takes forever. I have found through the customer service (or lack of) that if you upload with the incognito engaged (you know where fine people go to watch umm... that stuff) that it is a good chance it will upload much quicker. this actually seemed to work when I tried. moreover, I've have uploaded using the scheduled process which I've never used before, and this has been a breeze as far as walking away and letting it do its thing. hope any of this helps. keep on trying your mixes are that good! rg

EXACT SAME THING with me I've been trying since 8:15am Friday...i was just able to upload to my hearthis account (had to wait until the weekly gig limit reset) and I'd suggest creating an account there as well for a backup. it's pretty much the same but unfortunately a not as nice interface. if your episode is the computer world 2 it's up now and works. maybe i'll try mine again

It is a glitch. It's saving my show under "My Tracks" instead of "My Shows" no matter how many times I delete, edit, and re-upload. Therefore making it impossible to publish. Waiting on Mixcloud Support to get back to me.
Despite the fact that I've got Captain Maniac Shows going back nearly ten years on Mixcloud, the powers that be decided that none of this was important. I am still on the "free tier" with a different name, which is why you see my shows disappear after ten of them have been aired. I did look at other platforms, but either there was a cost involved or copyright issues prevented me from posting (as in the case of YouTube). Keep on rockin'!
LAME! I'm so sorry you lost all that history, Captain! I hate to hear that happened to you, though I'm glad you decided to stick to it as I do enjoy your shows! Hopefully, this problem will be resolved soon. ๐ค
It really fucked with me once for an hour. 24 hours is excessive! Have you reached out to support? I feel ya, sister.
I just submitted a form. I found the issue... it's saving it in "My Tracks-Drafts" when I undoubtedly uploaded it under "My Shows". It should be in My Shows-Drafts if anything. Not My Tracks. And it wants me to sign a waiver stating that these are MY Tracks when they are not, so I won't do that. Therefore, all I can do is wait until they get back to me and hopefully fix this technical issue ASAP!
They hit glitches every now and then. It's happened to me. I just grin and bear it and usually it finally uploads. Not sure why this happens? It could be servers are over taxed when a lot of people try to upload at the same time. I find most issues are on weekends so that could be the case. I have to do weekends because I am a working stiff and I can't spare my weekday after work hours to this.
I thought of this as well and I usually bear and grin it too, Kahuna68! I'm usually quite patient. But it's been over 24hrs. and I've never had this problem before. Of course, I'll stick around... but definitely going to look elsewhere too. If it wasn't for my subscribers, I wouldn't be able to afford to stay anyway. I just don't want to pay for something that doesn't work properly half the time. I shouldn't have to. ๐
Iโm also not satisfied anymore with Mixcloud , paying like โฌ11 a month and not allowed to download wich costs another additional payment for premium as already being pro and creating makes no sense ! pfft

I thought it was our wifi being slow at first, maybe even a glitch with the computer, but now I know it's strictly Mixcloud's doing... or not doing. Ugh! ๐ฉ
I hear ya ! Thatโs been going on for me since January ! Very distressing to get a show completed & it wonโt publish or the playlist goes all wonky. Iโm ready to find another platform .
Exactly. I started scheduling my shows when January hit and the platform changed. It made the timestamping of the tracklist almost impossible to do during the first time of uploading. I found scheduling the show directly after it fully uploaded worked best. Then, I would go back to edit in the tracklist, add a description, etc... and then, publish it right afterward. But none of that is working now. My screen just says "Processing: This upload will be available shortly" Heh, shortly my arse. *Siiiigh... it's so disappointing. ๐ซ
