Range Music NYC is a relatively new online vinyl record shop. Humble beginnings started right before the pandemic in 2019. But Joe Gomez has his roots in the dance music community since 1976. Older cousins and friends introduced him to the club scene in NYC and in 1979 he teamed up to start Downtown Records on Worth Street in Manhattan. There were no social media websites no cellphones and DJ's had to work to search out new music not provided from their record pools. Imports had always been a big influence on the club dance floor.
