Jun 2: Remembering Ray

It was three years ago that we lost Ray Kennedy, the original piano player in the John Pizzarelli Trio. Ray was as enjoyable to know as he was to hear play. As John & Jessica were celebrating Ray’s life and career, they received word that Radio Deluxe had won the Mixcloud award for the best online radio show in the jazz category! Right after the show, they recorded a video acceptance speech with John wearing the same new Picasso shirt that Jessica had just made fun of during this episode.
