A mish mash of blues, R&B & Tex-Mex (for want of a better definition) all fairly upbeat, highlighting ethnic interpretations of the blues. Soul Searchin' sees a return to the top table for one of the all-time great soul singers Solomon Burke, there is also a great Joe Louis Walker track, Cyril Neville less famous brother of Art & Aaron offers a great track Brand New Blues. Then there's Boom Boom Boom by The Iguanas which I first heard on the great TV series Homicide Life On the Streets.
