On today's show I attempt to flesh out the idea that the new Canadian music scene should have a name. From coast to coast this country is producing a new breed of electronic music ... a scene I call the Tech Nouveau. It's meant as a broad term like New Wave with more specific movements within it.
With the UK magazine Sounds being long gone I guess no one is bothering to label music genres. It's well known that the mainstream has completely missed the last 17 music movements ... but is always there to assure the next tv child star will have a successful career in pop music.
