There have been plenty of great 4AD label samplers and compilations throughout the years, but many of the same songs get recycled over and over again. I get the samplers pushing new artists and the comps pushing a-sides, but a little b-side/deep track every now and again wouldn't necessarily run off new listeners. Here's a brief answer to the corporate way labels handle promo mixes. I had planned on making this all 80s, but I really wanted the four stray 90s tracks, so here we are. Enough blather.
