It's been a cold winter. Likewise, it's pretty cold in space too. Dialing in our approach vector, we notice something a bit strange about the star we've been tracking. The sphere's composition is a beautiful array of coalescent pinks, spiraling to form a maelstrom of light. "Well this is very peculiar", exclaims Capt Tripps, "Dronoid, start scanning operations!"
Dronoid, top psychonautic translator in his class, specializing in making sense of intangible frequencies. He's worked closely with the PSY-Ops folks in Seattle, and has been commissioned many times to help with joint operations in and around Portland, Oregon. The first translation is printed out. Dronoid reads the tiny slip, "Dared To Hope". The ship is instantly bathed in the same pink light as the "star", a warm energy is felt throughout the ship.
"It's for Earth!"
