Ben Jackson's musical history stretches back over a decade, from an early punk/electronic hybrid act Her Majesty's Secret Cervix to playing bass guitar in crushing power-violence band Skull Face And Others, to composing music for dance, music, and theatre. Jackson channels all these experiences and more into his own music.
Influenced by DIY ethic of the punk scene in his native St. John's, Newfoundland, Jackson has often avoided the club circuit, preferring the bustling underground: a circuit of house parties, illegal festivals and warehouse shows across Canada and south of the border.
