From the mysterious vocal starting the journey that became a huge number for him, we start with a drum workout courtesy of peace division. Strong percussion continues until finally track 4 delivers the first baseline and we’re off. Then it’s a funky dark groove with familiar-sounding vocals doing just enough to peak interest before things gather pace and turn into something all the more serious when Kao ‘Stonegroove’ throbs and rumbles through. Extra precise mixing and confident control showcase Sander’s DJ skills, when perhaps most knew him for his production skills made famous by Sasha playing ‘my lexicon’ on his GU013 album.
