t’s the quintessential PT, this one. Easy listening and interesting jazz-tinged bits, some lo-fi garage rock and punk scattered about, electronic tinkering, novelties and funny / powerful OTT hyperpop stuff.
Highlights: There’s a Mrs Mills track here. I’ve only ever heard her name when people were taking the Mickey out of her for various reasons. Lucicrous! She’s a total gem, I listen to her bashing fuck out of the old joanna quite a bit. There’s something here by the very interesting hard / noisy raver Fukno who I’m very excited by. And a mahoosively powerful Bobby dazzler of a statement by Shamir towards the end. Also classic gritty punk from Angelic Upstarts, a selection from Pop Psychedelique and the reasonably impressive return of Rebecca Black.
