Grim English folk, woozy club tuneage, weedy art rock, global psych madness, wanged out techno, aggro-punk, bubbly melodic electronica, ridonkulous NXC pop remixes, a bucketload of slick breaks and some Pussy Riot. It’s a freaky one.
Highlights: Swooping strings in The Nightmare. Cool techno in the ‘Kid A’ tradition from Upsammy and DJ Python. Stooges style one-fingered piano bashing on the Shilpa Ray track. Some colourful electronic fun from Romano. A Radiohead mix that doesn’t stink(!).
There is a track here by Arca who went on to release one of the best albums of all time (love when that happens).
