The DeeJay Selection is homage to some of the seminal Toasting Legends of the 1970's. Arguably my favourite Reggae sub-genre, it's from here that i learned to MC, both Ragga and Rap stylee.
Tapper Zukie has remained my staple diet from the offset and In my opinion, sits at the pinnacle of being the Master DJ of all.
Although there are many great DJ's of equal stature, Tapper always manages to shine just that little bit brighter.
As ever, one or two of the tracks in the mix may fall slightly outside the 70's remit, but the flows belongs to that decade and therefore i couldn't bare to discriminate.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you. For a repressed provincial white guy like me this is the nearest I'll ever get to to understanding what it must have been like to be there. To be part of a meaningful, unifying culture. Just talking about it like this makes me feel so unbelonging!!! Fantastic music. I need a massive bin though.
