A set I did for the weekly online streaming event Isolation Industrial (21-08-2020 edition), organised by DJ's Nachtraaf and Fritz (Unterwasser). I know these guys from Dutch industrial/goth parties and that evening I was the guest DJ to their event.
Besides being a huge fan of drum and bass (obviously), I also frequently listen to dark electronic music and visit industrial/goth parties. In fact, my love for electronic music grew by listening to this kind of music. Yet for DJ-ing, I decided to specialise in drum & bass.
For this special occasion, I mixed industrial/synthpop/dark alternative dance music with some drum and bass. With this set, I could combine the best of both worlds to which I belong! Despite these two scenes being very different, we do have one thing in common: we love to rave (:
