‘OpenLab Future’, our show exposing new talent and sharing their story, is back today with Savel.
“For this mix, or rather, playlist of songs, I wanted to take the listener through some of the music that has inspired me. For a long time I've been producing solely drum & bass, but after hearing some of the amazing things people were doing inside and outside the genre, I started experimenting with my sound a little, resulting into my project under the name of Savel.
A common theme throughout this list of music is the contrast and combination of electronic and acoustic sounds and also concepts related to this, creating beautiful electronic orchestrations and hearing trance-like acoustic ensembles. All of these artists on this list have made me consider this dynamic in a new way.” - Savel
