Hard Metal Post Core Math

In the 1990's there was a new metal/hardcore scene. A scene made up of kids who grew up on their older brothers Metallica albums, who were able to utilize the DIY touring scene that was created by hardcore punk rockers like Black Flag. A scene that drew from European black metal bands for crushing noise and included people who cut their teeth playing jazz at NYU or Berkley.
