A mix of Zappa's influences (he named many of them on the back cover of his first album), records he covered and those that he played on US and UK radio when invited as a guest DJ.
Much like Frank's music, this mix spans 20th century orchestral influences, avant-garde jazz, doo-wop, heavy rock, funk, spoken word, blues....
I've included pieces of music, jazz and classical, that Frank adapted and wove into his own music. Hopefully they'll give FZ heads a buzz.

This is a very interesting thing you have done here. And you've carried it off really well. What a fascinating artist Zappa was. And what an amazingly eclectic compilation it creates if you sample what influenced him!
