SILVER TEARS: SUGAR TRAP I

Rico Nasty is a pioneer for "sugar trap" both as a style and mindset: raw and unafraid. This mix is my first sonic entry to exploring sugar trap as a genre. Oozing with feminine fluidity then smooth sailing to raw uncompromising energy. Silver proposes a sound where nostalgia guides the mix wherever it goes. Embracing the hardcore nature of having their roots grounded in the queer community, as well as loving trap and and afro beats, parties in London during the late 90s. Silver brings together these layers of complexities in trans diaspora sound.
