"TQ9": a postcode area in sw England, that is used locally as a term denoting a certain type of person, behaviour, outlook, for this rural area has a concentration of healers, artists, musicians, visionaries plus plenty of people into meditative-style dance practice — not confined solely to the TQ9 area. I've lived for 25+ years in the adjacent postcode of TQ11 but am a TQ9-er for the kind of dances I put on and my outlook to life.
Some of the musicians in this mix I’ve known since they were young. Others moved here to study or were drawn by the Totnes vibe. Some are still here whilst others have moved on.
I wanted to both showcase their work and, more generally, thank musicians whose music I use to create my events.

Thanks Robert brlliant curation of great music. I hadn’t heard the description TQ9 ers, I’m not from round here myself. On reflection though it’s perhaps not necessarily a link with a location as a state of mind and way of living 🤔
