What makes up the quintessential picnic? Sandy sandwiches, seagull interference, your mum's famous potato salad? These are some of the questions we explore in this episode on picnics.

For us, defining the picnic this week looked like making, and eating, a lot of finger food and reminiscing on picnics past. Where were we, who were we with and importantly what we were putting into our mouths.

With some fond food memories and some not so fond, we conjure up our dream picnics with a mix of childhood favourites and sophisticated grown up treats. We chat about what defines a picnic (does a BBQ count?), picnic politics, bring and share dread and the best picnics we've ever had.
