Originally aired at TrendKillRadio.com on June 13th, 2016. "This week we thrash test the quality of picture discs, check out a word from our sponsor and climb the Appalachian mountains to find black metal, settle up with some social media jams, discuss the wrong bands, roll up some stoner rock and psychedelia then test the boundaries of time. Will the quality hold up? Will the mountains contain snow caps? Will the social media frenzy be satisfied? Can we recover from the bait and switch? Will the fog and haze relinquish control? Find out for yourself on this week’s episode of Monuments in Ruin!"

Sometimes they surprise me!
Yeah, picture discs ... interesting and potentially cool in theory. Quality-wise, not so much. Although I did get the Soundgarden "Echoes of Miles" 6LP picture disc set and was surprised to not hear too much of the dreaded picture disc surface noise.
