Out the Bus Window

These are the tracks I was in the mood for on the road between Brasilia & Alto Paraiso in Goias. The bus was dark inside, not a house or lightbulb outside, just continual bursts of lightning.

Initially, sound recorded on the bus, at bus stations or rest stops was to be used for the intro,
but it's all on the external drive, which is inaccessible. So, I went hunting on Youtube for an appropriate sound clip & typed "Onibus Brasil".....the first thing that popped up was a 2007 news clip about the hold up of a bus by a drug boss.
On closer inspection, I realized that the bus was the 206, the bus we take everyday to get down the hill.

This news caused extra intrigue as Prazeres, the favela next to our pad & where the drug boss lived, was just pacified by the police this week. No more baile funks & no more gun shots, who knows if it'll last. Seems they're really working to clean up this place.
