Move It, Buster!

When people choose to take a night of their weekend to attend one of your festivities, it’s important you don’t waste their time. That is accomplished by having them stumble out as the bar closes, sweaty and laughing. For that to occur, one must monitor the physical reactions on the dance floor continuously. You must also watch the people at the bar & the people hovering in the corners, as your actions will help determine whether they want to return.

You must not be an asshole when people make requests, even stupid requests (although there are exceptions!). You can guarantee you won’t win their affection by telling them their taste in music is as appetizing as gargling a warm pair of giraffe testicles.

Take people who request appropriate/good music for the evening seriously. Maybe you weren’t planning on laying down any James Brown, but by dropping a few familiars, you can gain a lot of cooperation and acceptance towards the unfamiliar tunes you wish to unleash.
