We cover much geography in this one. Sonic contributions from Trinidad, Colombia, Martinique, Cuba, Panama, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Turkey, Somalia, UK & US. Mostly old but with a smattering of current bands heavily influenced by the vintage. Tracks that made recent long car journeys extremely pleasant.
The more music that enters your ears, the harder it is to keep categorizing style. After decades of collecting music, things sound good or they don't....and tracks go well in a context together or they do not. This is constantly evolving and mutating. The mystery and unexpected are all part of the fun and allure of music.
If you don't find yourself bopping around and shuffling to these jams, then you may wish to seek counselling.
